The city with the most glorious history in the world, a city worshipped by gods and people, a magical city. The enchanting capital of Greece has always been a birthplace for civilization. It is the city where democracy was born and most of the wise men of ancient times. The most important civilization of ancient world flourished in Athens and relives through some of the worlds most formidable edifices.

DAY 01 : Athens

Arrive in Athens and transfer to hotel. Free time to discover the tavernas and sights of this ancient city on your own. We will be happy to make recommendations.

DAY 02 : Athens

Morning sightseeing tour of Athens includes the Acropolis and its museum, the Ancient Agora, Temple of Zeus, Hadrians Gate and the first modern Olympic Stadium. Balance of day at leisure.

Half day Athens sightseeing ( 08.45 - 12.30 )

Pick up from hotel and drive to Panathinaikos Stadium, cradle of the first Olympic Games in 1896 (short stop). Pass by the Primes Ministers residence, ex Royal Palace, Zappion (Conference and Exhibition Hall), National Garden, Hadrians Arc, St. Pauls Church, Parliament, Tomb of the Unknown Soldier, Schliemans House (Nomismatic Museum), Catholic Cathedral, Academy, University, National Library, Old Parliament, Constitution Square, Russian Orthodox Church, Acropolis (visit Propylaea, Temple of Athena Nike, Parthenon and Erechtheion).

DAY 03 : Athens - Aegina / Poros / Hydra

Morning transfer to the pier to begin your full day cruise to the Saronic islands of Aegina, Poros and Hydra. Lunch and entertainment on board.

Full Day Cruise

Early morning transfer by motorcoach from Athens to Piraeus Port and embark on the cruise ship. Sail for the island of HYDRA. In Hydra you have time at leisure for strolling, shopping or swimming. In the early afternoon sail for the island of AEGINA, passing through the narrow strait separating the Peloponnesian coast from the island of POROS. Upon arrival in Aegina you can either join the excursion to the Temple of Aphaia (extra cost ) or walk around the main town. Lunch is served on board. Sailing to Poros for short visit. Finally, reembark for the sail back to Piraeus Port. Arrival at Piraeus Port and transfer to Athens.

DAY 04 : Athens - Nauplio - Olympia ( Four Days Classical Tour with Meteora )

Leave by the coastal road to Peloponessos crossing the Corinth Canal. Visit the famous theater of Epidaurus, then proceed to the town of Nauplion (short stop). Drive on and visit Mycenae. Then depart for Olympia through Central Peloponnese, Arcadia and the towns of Tripoli and Megalopoli. Dinner and overnight in Olympia, the Cradle of the Olympic Games.

DAY 05 : Olympia – Delphi

Spend the morning in Ancient Olympia. Visit the Sanctuary of the Olympian Zeus and the Museum of Olympia. Drive on through the plains of Eliad and Achaia, through Patras, Capital of the Peloponnese and take the ferry across the from Rio to Antirio or the famous Bridge. Crossing the picturesque towns of Nafpaktos (Lepanto) and Itea arrive in Delphi for dinner and overnight.

DAY 06 : Delphi - Kalamabaka

In the morning visit the archeological site on the slopes of Mt. Parnassus, and the Museum. Depart for Kalambaka, passing through numerous picturesque villages and typical towns of Central Greece. Dinner and overnight in Kalambaka.

DAY 07 : Kalamabaka / Athens

Tour the spectacular rock formations of Meteora. Perched on to are ageless Monasteries, where you can see exquisite specimens of Byzantine Art. Return to Athens via Trikala, Lamia, Thermopylae (visit the Leonidas Monument) and Kammena Vourla. Arrive in Athens early in the evening.

DAY 08 : Athens / Airport

After breakfast transfer to the airport for your flight back home.
